The Horsingdon Transmissions No.40: Ectoplasmic Plumes

An aerial photograph of Northwich Park, circa 1932. Strange forces coalesce about the scurrying intrusions of modernity into the primal, glacial rhythms of the landscape: note the diaphanous, ectoplasmic plumes erupting from the-newly constituted housing developments along what will become Eastcote Lane; also the ominous presence of a small black sphere toward the top left-hand corner of the image.
