Having finished John Langan's excellent The Fisherman, I've now moved on to another recent release, Nathan Carson's Starr Creek. Think Stranger Things - complete with D&D-playing adolescents and an extra dose of Lovecraftian horror - but on drugs. Literally. I mean, the cover pretty much says it all. In any case, I'm about 50 pages in and it really is the good stuff. Starr Creek can currently be purchased from Amazon UK for the appropriately devilish price of £6.66.
